Company Birth Story
In 2023, Ben Robertson found himself at a crossroads. After the tech company he worked for was acquired, his role as customer success leader became increasingly stressful. Job hunting left him feeling trapped and unfulfilled.
Inspiration struck from an unexpected source: his 5-year-old son's imagination. The boy wanted extraordinary coloring pages - scenes like a cheetah battling a lion, or Spiderman riding a dinosaur. Unable to find such specific pages, Ben turned to AI to create them.
Father and son formed an unlikely development team, with the boy serving as an enthusiastic quality control expert. They refined the process to create engaging coloring pages that sparked joy and creativity.
Ben built a simple landing page where people could generate custom coloring pages. The pivotal moment came when he received the first payment from a stranger. It was then he knew he had something other people were interested in - and he jumped headlong into building ColorBliss to what it is today.
